Li Mutong (born Li Wenlong) is a filmmaker from Hangzhou, China. He studies directing at the Communication University of China, entering class of 2023.
His work spans directing, screenwriting, editing and production, across live-action cinema and AI-generated imagery.
His films have been selected for FIRST International Film Festival and Zhejiang Youth Film Week. A Diary of Madman received the Best Visual Effects Award in the AIGC Film Unit of the Beijing International Film Festival. He was selected for Platform BUSAN at the 31st Busan International Film Festival.
He also writes fiction and poetry. His literary work has appeared in 青年作家 and 北京文学, among other magazines.
